P177@209 serves students within elementary students with Special Needs. Curriculum is aligned to both NYS Elementary and NYS Alternate Assessment Standards. We have approximately 85 students ranging from Kindergarten to Fifth grade. Class ratios include 12:1:1, 8:1:1, and two inclusion classes. It is our pleasure to educate students with autism, emotional, and behavior challenges, intellectual disability, and multiple disabilities.

Our P177@209 students have the opportunity to receive classes in Art, Technology, and Physical Education. Additionally, the students participate in many activities and events with their collocated general education peers, which include fundraisers, celebrations, book fairs, and lessons.

All students participate in the C.A.R.E.S. program which awards positive choices and appropriate behavior with points that can be used to purchase items in our Leaders’ Center.  The C.A.R.E.S. program also gives students the opportunity to socialize with their peers during our weekly clubs.
