Nevaeh Lide delivered a heartwarming and powerful performance as the titular heroine, Moana, embodying the character's adventurous spirit and determination. Alongside her, Jonathan Johnson was a standout as the demigod Maui, bringing charisma and humor to the stage. Both lead actors were truly great, showcasing impressive vocal and acting talents.
This spectacular event was made possible through the incredible collaboration of the entire P177Q staff but in particular with Dawn Freifeld; producer, Michael Hegarty; music director. Their collective effort, from set design to costume creation and countless hours of rehearsal, ensured a seamless and memorable experience for all. The enthusiastic presence of families, school administration, and other staff members in the audience highlighted the strong community spirit that thrives at P177Q.
The annual play is a highly anticipated event at the school, and this year's Moana Jr. production certainly did not disappoint.
