The day was filled with events designed to honor and celebrate the special women in the lives of our students.
One of the highlights was the "Mother's Day Tea Time," where mothers and their children enjoyed a relaxing afternoon of tea, sandwiches, and pastries. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and heartfelt conversations as families connected and created cherished memories.
Ismail's class took the lead in a creative and much-loved activity: creating cupcake bouquets. Mothers and their children worked side-by-side, decorating cupcakes and arranging them into beautiful floral arrangements. The activity was a wonderful way for students to express their love and appreciation through a personalized and edible gift.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, many classes opened their doors for business. The Crafty Panthers, Blooms, P177 Greeting Card, Carol's Corner, and Student Council were among those selling a variety of merchandise and plants. This gave mothers the opportunity to browse for unique gifts while supporting the students' entrepreneurial endeavors.
Moms across all sites attended the festivities, and the events were a resounding success. Mr. Duffy, along with other administrators, joined in the celebration, expressing their gratitude for the mothers and their vital role in the lives of their children and the school community.
The day was a beautiful reminder of the strong bond between mothers and their children, and a testament to the caring and inclusive spirit of P177Q.
