It was a day filled with fun and excitement! The event was made extra special thanks to the wonderful volunteers who dedicated their time. Families began arriving at noon and the festivities continued until five in the afternoon.
The festival featured various activities for everyone to enjoy, from dancing and games to quieter pursuits like taking pictures and engaging in sensory activities. It was heartwarming to see students and families coming together to participate in the different ventures.
There were many highlights the presence of the Funky Panther, Sandra Ung, a councilwoman, UFT Special Rep Joe Kessler D75 Superintendent Kettler Louissant, and many alumni and retirees. The festival was a great success, culminating in a walk and run to honor the memory of our late principal, Ms. Kathy Posa. What a fantastic day it was! Well done, Panthers!
