P177Q hosted DOE staff from across the city to learn more about our Chicks in the City Project. We were able to discuss how to develop and differentiate lesson plans for our students. Teachers were able to ask questions and provide feedback on their own experiences with animals. We ventured outside in the damp and chilly weather to give our guests a hands-on experience by allowing them the opportunity to hold Nugget and some even ventured into the coop to collect eggs. It was a great time had by all and we look forward to having everyone back to discuss Chicks in the City Part Deux.
