to help them clean the border of a litter-prone park next to the school. Students and staff gathered in the bus yard and got their gear together to begin the cleanup. The Sanitation Foundation explained the do's and don'ts. During our clean up we encountered a number of clogged storm drains and discussed the relationship between litter and urban flooding. By cleaning this drains on a regular basis we can prevent potential flooding to our school like the flood we suffered in September 2021. During his clean up we collected 2lbs pounds of litter and would like to continue this project.
