The weather was perfect for this event; the sky was clear and blue as were our participants. Classes gathered around 9:30 am in the schoolyard in anticipation of the walk for Autism Awareness. Our school's cheerleading squad got everybody revved up for the start, along with some inspiring music in the background. Students wrote with chalk messages and had fun recreating the word Autism with their bodies to capture drone footage. Everyone enjoyed this great event: alumni, students, and staff.
