P177Q Annual Holiday Party

On Friday, December 15, P177Q celebrated its annual holiday party.  The theme was Winter Wonderland, and the entire school was decorated with an Artic feel.  Students and Staff got a ticket to a magical ride on the horse and buggy.  As you walked through the hallway the snow was brought inside along with a fireplace, which was decorated by Decore to Adore, Class X14 worksite.  Further down the hallway, you went through a train ride of The Polar Express movie, this was spectacular with teacups hanging from the ceiling and train coming out of the wall! This was led by Ms Rice and the event committee.  As you entered the gymnasium you were greeted with thematic stations decorated with life-size arctic animals. All P177Q sites were present and enjoyed cotton candy, pretzels, and drinks. In the gym, students were able to socialize and enjoy many activities which included video and VR games led by the technology department, colored holiday scenes, played bingo, and made holiday buttons, face-painting and stickers led by art department and OT's.

Everyone was invited by to the auditorium to enjoy many scheduled shows directed by Mr. Goldberg,            Mr. Hegarty, and Ms. Nemirow.  Mrs. Rice and the cheerleading team gave a cheer along with special guests from Holy Cross Cheerleaders made a special appearance. Watch the video to get a glimpse of performances.

The Horse Buggy and village decoration were a hit. It was amazing to see how all classes made contributions representing a place of their village and to be able to see a horse in our courtyard!! This celebration was a memorable one, thumbs up to the event committee.  We hope everyone had a wonderful time, watch the video to relive the memories.  Click Here
